| | In the context of the international artist-in-residence program of the ACC gallery and the City of Weimar, the UTOPIAN INSTITUTE settles for ten days in the public sphere of the city.
On the border between art and crisis, the UIW examines the term 'utopia' with
regard to Weimar's urban space which is characterised by the
touristic staging of tradition and its "cultural heritage", and
thus is part of the almost exclusive logic of commercial consumption.
