THE REALM OF POSEIDON - The sea god’s will and temper rules the fate of Odysseus. Poseidon’s kingdom of nymphs, sea creatures and man eating traps is extensively described in Homer’s immortal verses.
Dita Antonopoulou’s Must-Have „Sardine“ Brooch made of felt is more than a statement on the serenity and sophistication of the marine world. It is also a wearable monument for the hard working people of the Mediterranean and their humble food. The „Sardine“ brooch stands as a symbol for the small and poor country Greece is; a country which, nevertheless, still plays an important role in the history of Europe.
Antonopoulou is an architect and designer. She has exhibited her work in Athens and London.
