INSTALLATIONS

Ziegler’s installations explore existential human needs, dreams, and utopian ideas in relation to architecture and urban space. His works from 2005 to 2016 reflect how individual aspirations collide with the economic and technological forces that continuously reshape the urban environment.

In his large-scale constructions and "micro-architectures" — often built from recycled materials such as wood, cardboard, and construction waste — Ziegler embraces the provisional, the unfinished, and the resistant. His aim is to open new perspectives on urban life and on social practices that connect art with everyday experience.
